Bio: How to make a Hatrick

Ingredients:

2 part HipNecks

1 Part Bockman

Shake vigorously until sounds like Soggy Bottom Boys 2 Men.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A bar band gone haywire: The Hatrick is what some call a "Partygrass" band. They are not a "bluegrass" band in the traditional sense, in that they pull from the non traditional styles of those such as the Avett Brothers, yet cling fast to the old timey feel of those such as Old Crow and the Ozark Mountain's legendary Big Smith. The 3 piece group is made up of a handful of members from area bands The HipNecks and Bockman. While their respective bands have enjoyed regional success, they still thought it prudent of them to make a side project of building a bar band the way they thought it should be done.
The Hatrick prides itself on not only covering their own bands music, but that of their fellow friends they've met on the road. It is not out of the ordinary to see some of these friends set in with them as they pass through Missouri. Armed with tasty 3 part harmony, acoustic guitars, harmonica, mandolin, acoustic bass, a wooden box for a bass drum, a foot powered tambourine, and every other little percussion gadget and toy trinket you can think of, The Hatrick is well known as the 3-Ply Human Jukebox... playing 3 hour shows off of only requests at times. The arrangement works well enough that these boys perform most every night and have completed 3 successful Colorado tours while only having been a group for just over a year. If you are out to see a singer/songwriter show, they may not be for you. If you want to see a rowdy interpretation of the original music thats floating around these parts, and hear some tunes you already know presented in a COMPLETELY different way... you'll probably love this.
Wednesday Nights @ The Forge & Vine, 10-1am.
