Bio: Like a frat boy puking on the shoes of his ineffectual lover, Columbia MO vomits up the missing number to the world's rock and roll sudoku puzzle. Bald Eagle brews the right cup of taste and talent, writing music that sticks in your head for days. Tongue-in-cheek songs about forgotten celebrities, unpleasant situations, and drug deals gone terribly wrong are delivered with about the same enthusiasm as a 400lbs. man entering a pizza eating contest.
Live and recorded, Bald Eagle brings a mix of funk, punk, and straight up balls-to-the-wall rock n' roll. Influences include Minus the Bear, JR Ewing, Refused, and Drive Like Jehu, but it is Bald Eagle's fresh and original approach to song writing that puts them in a category all their own. Members past projects include The One Inch Punch, Amputee Set, Subscribe, The Souls and The Carry On Killaway. Their debut record 'Bacon and Eggs, Dear' is due out early 2006 on Collective Records/Emergency Umbrella Records. Turn them shits up and check them out.

"Bald Eagle accomplishes a lot by picking and choosing elements of hardcore, hard rock, emo, soul, and even a bit of Sly Stone-style psychedelic funk for its tracks." - Justin Marciniak (PUNK PLANET)
The Missouri quartet's latest offering, Bacon and Eggs, Dear, is a rambunctious smorgasbord of funk beats, killer metal riffs, and screaming outbursts, with unbridled vigor belying the band's goofball subject matter. - Suzanne Niemoth (FLAVORPILL)
