Bio: Hailing from Jefferson City, Missouri, Pierpoint exploded on the local music scene last year after winning a battle of the bands. Pierpoint is a five piece modern rock band building a local fan base with their powerful guitar driven rock anthems. They have recently finished work on their self-produced debut album, which will be available on the website (pierpointonline.com) by the end of the year. In the mean time, the group is working on refining their original arsenal of music for shows. This energy-packed live show is not to be missed. Musical influences including Deftones, Incubus, and Breaking Benjamin can be heard.

Vocalist Brian Peterson founded the band in the summer of 2003, soon to add guitarists Adam Voight, Adam Lindsey, bassist Donnie Mehmert and most recently drummer Zack Blomberg. Brian, Adam V., Adam L., Donnie and Zack found common ground in writing music together. This connection is the founding structure of their powerful emotionally-charged music. Raw talent, engaging and intense stage presence is how concert-goers have described them.

After attending a performance, a radio personality requested the demo. You can now catch their first single, ?Innocent,? on KBBM 100.1 ?The Buzz? based out of Columbia, Missouri. With the incredible response from ?Innocent,? KBBM 100.1 featured Pierpoint on the ?Favorite Local Buzz Competition,? where they won by listeners voting on an online poll. You can now catch Pierpoint packing venues throughout the Midwest. Their energy and stand alone style are not to be missed.
